EWP Below 11m

Course Objective

This course specifies the competency required to safely and effectively operate elevated work platforms (EWP's) in avariety of different terrains and situations to access isolated work areas. This unit includes locating, setting up, operating and shut down.

Elements

Plan and prepare work.
Conduct routine checks of platform.
Locate equipment in places for work application.
Elevate to work location.
Lower platform and shut down.

Target Groups

Employees who are required to operate elevated work platforms, these include boom lifts with platform height under 11 meters, scissor lifts, trailer mounted booms, truck mounted and personal lift platforms.

Nil

Statement

Yellow Card license for scissor lift and boom lift below 11 meters issued on behalf of Elevated Work Platform Association of Australia.
