To provide participants with knowledge and skills to operate and maintain a chainsaw in a safe manner.

Elements

• Perform routine daily maintenance on a chainsaw
• Sharpen chainsaw chain
• Cross cut fallen timber on the ground

Target Groups

Any person employed in an industry that requires them to operate a chainsaw.

Pre-requisites

Operate and Maintain chainsaw Statement of Attainment or 5 years of use of chainsaw.
