Course Objective

This unit specifies the competency required to shore a trench to prevent the collapse of trench walls and provide safety to personnel working int he trench. It includes the minimum criteria for competency. This unit includes the set out, installation and removal of shoring

Construction Workers required to carry out the set-out installation and removal of trenching support.
